Steps for Rendering - Streaming or Queuing
Simple steps to render your scene with Boost for Daz via Streaming or Queuing
Depending on whether you decide to render via Streaming or Queue there are some Daz configurations that will help you create great renders.
Important configurations prior to Rendering via Streaming
Step A: Connect to Iray Server
In Daz Studio, go to: Render settings > Advanced (Tab) > Bridge (Tab)
1. Uncheck Protocol (Secure) checkbox
2. Click Connect button
3. Check Rendering (Enabled) checkbox
Then,
Step B: Start Render (Streaming)
In Daz Studio, go to: Render settings > Advanced (Tab) > Completion (Parameter)
4. Set MAX TIME (secs) to 0 (zero) - To ensure uninterrupted rendering, the MAX TIME parameter should be checked and reset to zero before rendering - every time.
5. Click Render to start rendering - With your active Iray Server connection, you can Render as many Daz projects you want, prior to logging out.
Important configurations prior to Rendering via Queue
Step A: Add to Cloud Render Queue
In Daz Studio, go to: Render settings > Advanced (Tab) > Bridge (Tab)
Uncheck Protocol (Secure) checkbox
Uncheck Rendering (Enabled) checkbox
Set MAX TIME (secs) to 0 (zero) - To ensure uninterrupted rendering, the MAX TIME parameter should be checked and reset to zero before rendering - every time. [In Daz Studio, go to: Render settings > Advanced (Tab) > Completion (Parameter)]
Click Add to Queue [...] button
Step B: Manage your Iray Server Queue
Click OPEN IRAY SERVER ADMIN button to open Iray Server Admin in a new browser tab - Logging into Iray Server Queue Admin is required to START / STOP Queue and to download your render results
Copy & Paste Name and unique Iray Server session password into the Iray Server Admin page to log in
Manage Queue - you can start, stop, and restart your Render queue. Once renders are complete, you need to download your rendered file from your virtual Iray server to your local hard drive prior to terminating your session.
